A Dynasty gives back.
Last summer we received a call from one of our very good customers, Misty Pounder of Lemont. Through the years we had done school dances and proms for Misty’s children and even had their oldest son propose to his wife after an outing in one of our limos. Misty called to say that her son Beaver was coming back from Iraq on a leave after his unit had been ambushed . He was very fortunate to survive the attack. Lemont was giving him a Heroes Parade and Misty asked if we would be able to take part. We were more than honored to be part of such a special event. Pete, and our son Aaron took the 1940 Cadillac into Chicago and were met by the Pounders and the motorcycle brigade that welcomes the Hometown Heroes. As they appoached Lemont the the group was met by fire department equipment and several police units. After going through he streets of Lemont the parade ended up at the VFW Hall where Beaver was given an award.
Pete and Aaron were so overwhelmed by the event that we contacted Misty and volunteered our services for the Homecoming events that she has organized. We feel that this is just something that we can do to show our appreciation for the men and women who are sacrificing so much.
